Job Description

Overall Job Purpose:

New and exciting opportunity for recent graduates or people passionate about technology to go into Testing and join a Testing team working in a stimulating and innovative area. The UK's leading travel providor is looking for a entry level Test Analyst with strong organisational skills and a good eye for detail to support the testing team on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the implementation of changes to existing and new retail systems accross the travel industy.

Key Accountabilities:

* To undertake quality assurance checks during third-party supplier developments
* To ensure that the test scenarios, test plans and scripts are created in a structured way, to
reflect business or technical priorities and are approved by appropriate stakeholders
* To execute tests and ensure results are accurately recorded
* To support other test team members and associated IT and business resources as appropriate to the implementation of testing-related activities
* To report issues observed as part of the testing-related activities and retesting where required
* Liaise with suppliers in regard to the resolution of any defects identified
* To carry out other tasks as agreed with the Test Lead

* Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office tools

* Degree qualified or relevant professional qualification and experience
* Familiarity with testing methodologies and lifecycle
* Knowledge of Smartcard systems and/or ITSO (advantage but not essential)
* Experience in working in the UK public transport sector (advantage but not essential)
