Job Description

Working with a global client looking for a Lead Enterprise Architect to work on their current Smart Ticketing project.

The Lead Enterprise Solution Architect will lead the Business Solutions Architect staff in ensuring that common architecture decisions are implemented consistently across business and IT in order to support the business and IT strategy.

They will also direct the research, analysis, design, proposal, and delivery of IT architecture solutions that are appropriate for the business and Group IT strategies.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years hands-on experience in IT Services and 5+ years in Enterprise Architecture roles with demonstrated success and experience at a global level in:
    • Transformation of fragmented and isolated technology landscapes into an integrated and harmonised global environment
    • Developing enterprise level architecture and the according roadmaps for ticketing, retail or similar high transaction volume systems B2B/B2C systems
    • Global scale for standardisation activities and complexity reduction
    • Global scale in designing and deploying application and infrastructure solutions
    • Minimum 5 years of having lead a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined, globally dispersed team
    • Developing and monitoring the delivery of efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex technology problems
  • Strong analytical skills, good knowledge of business process and capability design and solid team leadership
  • Strong relationship building skills and executive presence
  • Ability to constructively challenge requirements to increase overall value to the Firm
  • Ability to direct the point of optimisation from the project to the enterprise
  • Excellent decision-making skills, even in the absence of complete facts
  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
  • Excellent management skills, coupled with exceptional judgment and tact
  • Knowledge of industry standard Enterprise Architecture Frameworks, (e.g. Zachman, TOGAF) recommended but not required
  • Strategic skills to develop long-term visions and the ability to translate them into actionable roadmaps that are broadly accepted
  • Ability to translate business needs into EA requirements, and estimate the financial and architectural impact of EA alternatives
  • Ability to rapidly comprehend the changes to key business processes and the impact on the overall architecture
  • Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and motives and to lead virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams
  • English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication
  • An overall understanding of the business objectives of a Ticketing, Media & Entertainment business, including enterprise functions
  • Ability to work and team with a multitude of different people - including business customers, IT project managers and IT engineers - to balance demands
