Providing an Exari solution interface to Business Units.
Managing, analysing and defining business requirements for the Exari solution and ensuring that these are met through use of the product and integration where required with other systems.
Leading the Exari Team to ensure best results are produced consistently and efficiently.
Work with the Project Manager to define accurate delivery schedules based on business prioritised features for delivery and take ownership for the delivery of agreed functions and features
Work with the Project Manager on the definition of a holistic framework within the document generation system, identifying shared requirements and economies of scale across the various lines of business.
Ensure the requirements of external legislation and regulations (e.g. MAS, Lloyd's legislation, Money Laundering/Proceeds of Crime, Data Protection, Health & Safety), company best practice and other general business compliance procedures are adhered to at all times
Promote the company brand and values to enhance their reputation in the market
Work with the business sponsor and project manager to define the business requirements in terms that the business can relate to and in sufficient depth for the delivery team members and Business Change/Solution Delivery to develop from.
Owning the business requirements throughout the development process, ensuring that the solution proposed and delivered meets the agreed business requirement.
Ensure the project manager is kept informed of progress, flagging risks and issues in a timely fashion to enable remedial actions to be undertaken.
Ensure delivery team is focused on delivery prioritised and agreed work.
Ensure departmental administrative processes are adhered to by the team, highlighting where not likely to be met.
Assisting the Business Sponsor and project manager in recognising and resolving the issues surrounding implementation of the agreed solution.
Define and then regularly review an Exari Development, Analysis and Test standard to ensure best practice is understood and followed by current and future members of the team.
Reviewing the work of the Exari authors and testers to ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the Business Analysis and Testing standards.
Providing the focal point where required throughout the development process (including that of external suppliers when neccessary) for ensuring that the functional solution meets the business requirement.
Taking ownership of business objectives and co-ordinate team work, maintaining focus even when under pressure.
Working with the Project Manager to ensure dependencies are understood and managed.

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
High level awareness of a variety of IT software development methods.
Good understanding of system design and implementation
Full understanding of all aspects of a London Market Broking operation, including all aspects of client and Market technical insurance processing and accounting.
Ability to discuss requirements with business users, analyse critically and creatively and arrive at clearly defined Business Requirements
Ability to produce (or, where appropriate, be involved in the production of) a business proposal that addresses the agreed business requirements
Sound understanding of Microsoft technologies
Sound understanding of cross systems integration techniques
Working knowledge of SQL and performing SQL queries
Working knowledge of XML
Extensive understanding of the London Insurance Market and how it functions at both technical and organisational levels
Experience of the Business Systems Analysis and Test Analyst role across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Extensive experience of working in the London Insurance Market, preferably at a broker.
Agile and Waterfall experience.
Understanding of London Market electronic trading
Technical insurance processing and accounting systems background
