For one of our NRW-based clients, a global market leader in providing customer-centric retailing solutions to retail and manufacturing companies, we are currently looking for a Client Lead – Retail Insights.
- Develop retail specific strategies and customer solutions
- Develop relationships throughout the client’s organisation
- Translate business issues into solutions
- Provide leadership and guidance to a local team
- Be responsible for the development of tool solutions, customer analysis and insights delivery, as well as for selling software solutions and their implementation
- Act as a global thought leader on all category management topics and highlight category management opportunities in order to develop existing client accounts
- Recruitment, training and development of team
- Extensive experience of Retail, working at VP level for either grocery retailer, blue-chip CPG or relevant consulting or customer insights companies
- Experience of working across Merchandising (Assortment, Pricing, Promotion, Placement), Marketing (Mass Media and Targeted Marketing), Category Management and Regional Store Operations
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Familiar with the application of customer insights in a retail and/or CPG environment thorough tools and consultancy
- Knowledge of the customer & loyalty space
- Entrepreneurial approach to business development
- Fluency in German and English
