Description:

One of the worlds biggest and best Investment Management firms are currently on the prowl for an advanced Junior Developer to join their high flying and growing development team.

The successful candidate will join a fast-paced technology team in the Front Office within the rapidly expanding European Invesmtent Management Systems division. This company ae rapidly expanding its Global IT footprint making this is an exciting time to join as there are plenty of opportunities to contribute to growth and direction.

The main focus of this job is to work on their bespoke Portfolio Management system written in Java, therefore the role is for a Server-Side Engineer (flexible on langugaes as it is a junior role and they invest in people).

Technical Requirements:

  • Backend Language (Java, C#, etc.).
  • Spring Boot.
  • JUnit, Cuccumber BDD (or any automated testing experience).

Desirables:

  • AWS core services: EC2, S3, DynamoDb.
  • Messaging.
  • CI with Bamboo.
  • Automated deployment.
  • Git/BitBucket.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Undergrad Degree in Computer Science (or any related STEM subject).
  • High proficiency in any high-level programming language (C++, Java, C# etc.).
  • Two to five years' work experience.
  • Some Financial Services experience.
