As part of the continued government Gov.UK initiative to digitalise services, Westminster City Council embarked on a huge digital transformation project.
They relocated the main headquarters to a new technology driven environment to improve efficiency, reduce desk space and accommodate more flexible working. Communication channels for residents were improved and the digitalisation of multiple services including parking, permits and collections was introduced.
Venquis was engaged to build out the Digital Transformation team and source specialists responsible for scoping, designing, and delivering each project stream.
In total Venquis successfully sourced and managed the onboarding of Head of Programmes, built a PMO team and added specialist experts in the areas of Infrastructure & Development Leads and Training. In addition to recruitment services, Venquis also supported the project by writing job specifications, onboarding resources and providing payroll services to external interims.
